Potential Adverse Events

Although complications from the AxiaLIF Procedure have been low, as with any surgical procedure, there is a risk of experiencing adverse events. These events include such things as bleeding, neurological damage, and infection. Also, people with certain conditions, such as certain bowel diseases or misalignments of the spine, are not eligible for use of the device. It is important to discuss all of these risks with your physician.
